The Little Car Company and HERO-ERA Rev Up UK Motorsports with the Launch of Bugatti Baby II Championship

The Little Car Company and HERO-ERA have teamed up to launch the UK Bugatti Baby II Championship, a new racing series that will see 20 adult and child teams compete in three racing events at some of the UK’s most iconic automotive and racing locations.

The events will take place at Bicester Heritage, Silverstone, and Prescott Hill, and will mark the first time that junior Bugattis have taken to the racetrack competitively in almost 100 years. The championship will provide a rare opportunity for drivers to test their skills and share their passion for racing with their families, combining their racing skills to create memories that will last a lifetime.

The Bugatti Baby II is a 75% scale version of one of Bugatti’s most iconic racing vehicles, the Bugatti Type 35. It is fully electric, with multiple driving modes, and can be enjoyed by both adults and children. Entrants will not need to own a Bugatti Baby II to compete, as these will be provided for each event. Coaching will also be provided by 24 Hours of Le Mans winner and Bugatti Pilote Officiel, Andy Wallace.

The championship will feature three events, the first of which will take place in the main hangar at Bicester Heritage on April 23. The second event will be held at Silverstone, the home of British motorsport, on May 28, while the final round will feature a hill climb at Prescott Hill Climb on July 8, followed by the final prize giving.

Ben Hedley, CEO of The Little Car Company, said: “We’ve partnered with HERO-ERA to create a new kind of electric motorsport: a three-stage, adult and child championship at the UK’s most iconic racing and automotive locations. For kids who have dreamt themselves as Lewis Hamilton or Max Verstappen, and their parents who may have grown up idolising Ayrton Senna or Nigel Mansell, our event will give them the opportunity to emulate their racing heroes across three days of racing.”

There is a £4,950 entry fee per team, which includes entry to all three racing events, catering at each event, and entry to the Bicester Scramble for the first race. Competitors can enter on a first come, first served basis via the HERO-ERA website.
